    Here’s another–cover of a book, Mama’s Last Hug, by Frans de Waal.

    And the same in plants, who feel emotion, protect their friends, communicate w/ each other, and care for their offspring, all through an underground mat of roots, fungi, etc.

      Every time I see something alive I think … that had to have a mother, or something that came before. I mean, we wouldn’t be anything, but for the lives that came before. It’s good to honor that, them.
