Wonderful photos and a beautiful dove. I love them and about 4 or 5 faithful ones eat here everyday. They are gentle birds, so nice. One day quite a few years ago I counted about 30 of them feeding at my feeder (on the ground of course). I couldn’t believe the number and never again have so many gathered, but it was delightful to see.
30! I’ve never seen that many. Here it’s just this one and his mate that was sitting a few feet away. Sometimes they do this weird neck dance, I call it, where they twist their necks around each other’s. I love their cooing. It’s soooo soothing.
