Gene Harris, Jazz Pianist

I just discovered Gene Harris. It was this piece of music I heard on the radio that turned me on to him. (It was even better watching him play.)

I don’t know anything about jazz piano. Just loved this sound. Then I found him playing with Roger Kellaway, another jazz talent I’m discovering. I’ll be watching this for days. Look at the fun they’re having! Especially towards the end.

So late in life to discover all this great music, but happy too.

However you celebrate the Holidays, I wish you good music and a happy heart.

    How wonderful–love it! It brings back great memories since I grew up in a jazz town and listened to these sounds for many years. What a treat to listen to these selections, thank you Bix. I hope you have a lovely and maybe some jazz listening holiday season.
