When It Comes To Diets, “Everything In Moderation” Doesn’t Work

Since the start of the year, as people resolve to eat more healthfully, I’ve been hearing, “all things in moderation.” When it comes to diets, this just doesn’t work, as Cari Romm describes in:

Everyone has a different definition of “moderation.” In fact, we use it to justify eating almost anything we want.

What we call moderation is based in large part on what we consume, rather than the other way around.
