    What I love about owls is their faces. Have never seen one in person (except what I think was one in a close call on the highway at night many years ago), but am transfixed when looking at their faces in photos. Thanks for these.

      Their faces. Me too. In The Atlantic’s photos there are several where the owl is at ease with a human. They are probably as curious about us as we are about them. There’s one that really neat … I’ll add that one.
